A Shared Meal | Notary Ceramics x Yours Truly

We recently teamed up with our favorite neighbors over at Yours Truly. If you haven’t been yet, it is the most beautiful cafe that opened its doors down the street from us one year ago. Together we wanted to cater and create a relaxed, (but gorgeous), evening for our respective teams. 

Star, the owner of Yours Truly has been a very sweet friend of mine for several years.  Someone I’m always happy to see and wished I could have more time with. But between our busy lives, mom responsibilities, and the small business owner's grind, this dream date had never quite come to fruition. We set out to fix that! The wonderful Yours Truly community and my own incredible Notary ladies all agreed to an evening of beauty, great food, wine and connection. 

We got to the cafe a couple of hours early to set a gorgeous table. Chic, timeless and elegantly casual, our table design accentuated the European charm and color palette of Yours Truly, while celebrating the stunning wild blooms of Wury Glende, (of Graceful Garland Co).  

Wury met us at the cafe with buckets of flowers and greenery to create the most whimsical arrangements. We had created a few vessels just for this collaboration as well as one vase design that would live permanently on the tables of the cafe. It is always so fun to see something come to life from a shared vision.

With the tables set and the wine chilling, it was time to turn our attention to the meal. We supplied Star with just about every serving bowl and platter we had available in the shop. Star is a fantastic cook and agreed to feed the crew. She focused on the tastes of the early spring season, highlighting gorgeous produce and unexpected pairings.

Meanwhile my team and I took on dessert for the evening.
