Return Policy

 

Because Notary Ceramics is a small business, we do not offer refunds, but are happy to offer in-store credit on product within 30 days of being delivered to our customers. 

You're probably happy to know that we can offer exchanges but still disappointed to know that we don't offer any returns. Let us explain why. We are a small business, a very small business that makes many of our products in small batches with a slightly experimental process that takes time. We have made the decision to solely accept exchanges and we choose not to accept returns as it is simply not cost effective for our operation. Our time is limited and we handle nearly all aspects of our business ourselves. To keep up with orders and still set aside enough time needed to maintain our business, work on new collections and direction for our brand this is the only feasible choice. 

We believe deeply in the quality of our products and know that our products are better in real life than they appear online. We celebrate the small differences and characteristics of each of our pieces, but recognize that not everyone feels the same way. If you are reluctant to purchase something that you have yet to see in person, we think it's safe to say that if you're drawn to it online then you will not be disappointed when you receive the product in the mail. If you are set on one of the products, but want to be sure, please reach out ahead of time for more photos and details prior to purchasing.
