Care instructions:

Hand wash only, do not soak. Rinse the board under cold and then hot water. If necessary, use a mild detergent and wipe dry. 

Notary Ceramics is a small, female owned business, focusing on handmade and small batch products. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. Cancellations may only be made within the first 30 minutes of purchasing.

Let us explain why. We are a small business, a very small business, that hand-makes many of our products in small batches, with a slightly experimental process that takes time. Our time is limited and we handle all aspects of our business ourselves.

We believe deeply in the quality of our products and know that our products are even better in real life than they appear online. We celebrate the small differences and characteristics of each of our pieces, but recognize that not everyone feels the same way. If you are reluctant to purchase something that you have yet to see in person, we think it's safe to say that if you're drawn to it online then you will not be disappointed when you receive the product in the mail. If you are set on one of the products, but want to be sure, please reach out ahead of time for more photos and details prior to purchasing.

We ship using the best shipping method for your specific destination. For all international orders we use DHL; for domestic orders we use UPS or USPS 2-day shipping. 

Local pick up is available at our Portland, Oregon studio. Please visit our store during business hours to pick up your order.
